Pickens County Sportsman's Club
Membership Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- Required to prove they can legally own and posses a firearm. (LEO ID, Carry Permit, Background Check).
- Must be a current member of the NRA.
- Require two members to act as your sponsor.
- Must be of good character and integrity.
The club is currently at its membership capacity. If you are interested in joining you will be placed on a wait-list. There are currently over 100 people on the wait list and it could be 2+ years before you are invited. In order to be placed on the list you must meet all membership requirements.
If you do not currently have a sponsor you are welcome to look at our calendar and look for events open to the public and try to find someone to sponsor you.
Once we have available openings we will send an invitation via email in the order received. Invitations will expire in a few days and if not accepted will be offered to the next person. It is your responsibility to keep your contact information correct and up to date. Invitations are normally sent in January but could be sent anytime of year.
After you have received your invitation and in order to fully become a member you must:
1. Timely Pay Initiation Fee (Currently $600) and
2. Pay First Year Annual Dues ($300 for under 70, $200 for 70+)
3. Successful complete an online Orientation and Safety Class
4. Attend New Member Orientation where you will pick up your badge.
Disclaimer: An Invitation does not guarantee membership. All members are admitted once all documentation has been verified and your sponsor vouches for you. It is up to the discretion of the club to approve all membership applications. Any falsification of the application or failure to pay fee or dues in a timely manner will result in a refund and immediate termination of membership application.
