Rifle 1 Foundations - 1 day (8 hour) course that establishes the proper fundamentals for rifle shooters and acts as a refresher for the seasoned shooter with years behind a gun.

This course will cover:
Weapon Safety
Zero Verification
Basic Marksmanship
Loading/Unloading
Malfunctions/Stoppages
Transitions
Shooting while moving
Use of cover/concealment
Shooting Positions
Tactics
Maintenance

Required/Recommended equipment:
Rifle & Pistol
Belt w/holster & carry spare magazines (chest rigs & plate carriers)
AT LEAST 3 rifle magazines & 2 pistol magazines (more is better)
350rds rifle & 150rds pistol ammunition (more is better)
Eye protection
Hearing protection
Hat
Closed toe shoes
Sunscreen
Water/Hydration source
Range bag
Note taking material
Cleaning equipment
