Handgun 1 Foundations - 1 day (8 hour) course that establishes the proper fundamentals for pistol shooters and acts as a refresher for the seasoned shooter with years behind a gun.

This course will cover:
Pistol Safety
Basic Marksmanship
Loading/Unloading
Malfunctions/Stoppages
Draw
Shooting while moving
Use of cover/concealment
Shooting Positions
Tactics

Required/Recommended equipment:
Pistol
Belt w/holster and means of carrying spare magazines
AT LEAST 3 magazines (more is better)
350rds of ammunition (more is better)
Eye protection
Hearing protection
Hat
Closed toe shoes
Sunscreen
Water/Hydration source
Range bag
Note taking material
